The Franchise I chose to invest in was Gold's Gym. Gold's Gym would be an ideal franchise for me to work for. The required capital to invest is $400,000 but the overall investment is anywhere from $500,000- $1,000,000. Gold's would be a great place for me to work because I am very into my physical fitness and being healthy. Being an Entrepreneur at this franchise would be a very smart decision. The iconic Gold’s Gym name is recognized globally by millions of people. Their strengths include unrivaled buying power, award winning marketing, and strategic partnerships and programs.
One thing to look forward to about this franchise is it will never go out of business. Though the economy is bad fitness centers do not get badly affected. Investments will be protected and compensation will be given if anything does happen. Gold’s Gym was #72 on the 2011 Entrepreneur Franchise 500 Listing for best Franchises. It is the number one gym franchise in the world with over 700 Locations in 42 States and 30 Countries. So this gym is a safe bet due to its great reputation. Their franchisees benefit from over 45 years of experience and commitment developing proven systems and innovative resources. The franchise also has a very strong franchise association and support system. The firm does a good job assisting you and training you to be successful employees in this system. Investing a life time in this franchise would be worth it. Though I would have to give up independence and freedom to survive in this company and report to others for some issues this company still appeals to me.
Over the next 5 years I believe this franchise will stay the same if not grow more. People of this generation like to stay healthy and help themselves live a longer life. This franchise is world renown and is the number one full service fitness franchise in the world. The website did a good job answering all the questions on page 134. Hey Luca,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your blog because I also enjoy my fitness so I thought it was cool that you chose to blog about becoming a franchise member of Gold’s Gym. While I was reading your article I couldn’t help but notice how much money it requires to become a franchise member of Gold’s. With an initial investment of a half a million dollars and a necessary investment of another half a million after that, it is a lot of money to own and operate your own gym under the Gold’s name. Other than how much money it cost to start the gym I thought they you had a very well written article and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I did not know that Gold’s was one of the world’s number one franchises and I thought that it was very interesting and said a lot about our generation that people were that interested in getting healthy.
