McDonald's is a fast growing fast food place. It’s the world’s largest chain of hamburger and fast foods. They serve about 68 million people daily and there in 119 countries. The year McDonalds started was 1955 and from there on it just kept getting better. McDonalds has really good opportunities in there business. They are pretty successful opportunities as well. First off they’re a world wide fast-food place and they are a very successful fast-food place making 3.9 billion dollars. There planning on making a lot of McDonalds in china which they are already very successful in china and are making much more. Making McDonalds in china is a pretty big opportunity because china is such a large populated country so they will be making a lot more money just being in china itself. McDonalds is also always coming up with new ideas for what to sell next and what will be the next big thing. The McDonalds manager makes 100,000 dollars a year or more just by that you can tell how successful McDonalds is. McDonalds is continuing to have many opportunities in its business and they keep on succeeding in what they are doing.

McDonalds faces a lot of challenges as well. They have more challenges than they have opportunities. One big challenge for McDonalds could be the cleanliness of the stores. A lot of McDonalds around the world face this problem because they’re either in a bad part of their town/city or they are just not doing a good job cleaning. I feel like McDonalds will always face this problem. Another big thing that McDonalds faces is how bad the food is for you. There are a lot of people facing obesity and people blame a lot of that on McDonalds. The manger said that the people don’t have to be eating the food which is true it’s the people’s choice to eat the food and if they get obese then that’s there fault. I would say that this is definitely one of there biggest problems. From when McDonalds first stared the sizes in their food has multiplied in size by a lot, which is another reason why people get big. They see the biggest size and they want it. McDonalds also offers healthy products, which is really good. They have yogurts, salads, fruit, milk, etc. overall the success of McDonalds is still increasing and its getting much bigger and will soon be everywhere in the world.
