Coke Marketing

Coca-Cola is so well known around the world because of its marketing skills. A big way they market is to have the product be associated with a memory. Coca-Cola signs are seen on big billboards at professional games or big public events. Costumers will always think of Coke as a good product the more they see the name Coca-Cola at a place they had fun. Coke also uses a jingle in a coke commercial. This made people always remember the product because the jingle always stayed in their head. They also use celebrities like Mean Joe. They showed him smile in a Coke commercial showing that even Coke will make anyone like Mean Joe happy. Since Coke is always being criticized a very unhealthy drink, they use other brands under their name to “Go Healthy”. They make Coke look attractive by changing the bottle’s shape. The new shaped Coke bottle has already made millions for Coke as said in the video.

Coke was so good to have its brand in people’s culture, when they made the new coke; many people were very upset because they felt like they were losing a bit of their lives. Many people grew up with Coke being everywhere and a lot of their good memories were shared with Coke.  In the video, Coke also was given to soldiers at war to remind them of home.

Another main reason why Coca-Cola has very good marketing is because they are known worldwide. People in third world countries see Coke as a gift or a product of happiness. Coke is bought after a long day of work with little pay and it brings smiles to their faces.

In the book, marketing is defined as, "The actively, set of institutions, and processing for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners and society at large”. I believe Coca-Cola has met these standards because of its popularity. Personally, I grew up knowing Coke better than any other of its competitors. Coke was seen everywhere and they really were involve in many memories that I had growing up. It was almost like a must have drink if you were to throw a party in my family.

coca cola

Coca cola has been the one of the biggest soft drink company for over hundreds years, during all these year, coca cola has been development from a little factory to a large organisation around all over the world now. every year coca cola has to make something new to the people who had it or even for the people who has never had it yet a chance to know coca cola better, they investing lots of money on spreading the information to some countries even never heard of coca cola before.

Coca Cola has many competitors, like the most famous one will be Pepsi. They spend lots of money on just keep their own product become more famous than another, which will be more profit at the middle east and Asia area. Like Pepsi did a funny joke on Coca Cola.

Coca Cola is not only having competition at soft drinks, they also has to face the new problem, which is healthy. Healthy is one of the biggest thing nowadays no matter to guys or girls, everyone start to pay attention on their weight, so lot of juice company keep saying that most of the people get fat because they drink too much soft drink, and Coca Cola is the best example. So compare to all the new healthy product, Coca Cola start to get diet coke and zero coke, which provide people who love coke but want to get healthy a way to enjoy both the things.

Also Coca Cola is an international business, the Africa and China still the two biggest potential customers. over 40% of the country still could develop by doing ads at the cities, and letting people know more and more about Coca Cola. That's why the Chinese Coca Cola CEO recruit over 20,000 new people to join the Coca Cola company and help to develop the Coca Cola into the west China, and try to make more people know about Coca Cola and in the other hand by making more profit.

Coca Cola Lessons Learned

Coca Cola is the most famous drink around the world. You can find Coca Cola in over two hundred countries world-wide. Coca Cola is a major part of America’s history; it has been around for over one hundred. To the people of America coke is not just a beverage, it is a symbol of youth, inspiration, and joy. The Coca cola label is one, if not the most recognized label in the world. Everybody knows what it is and most people love it. Coca Cola even represents America in some ways, but the love for Coca Cola isn’t just because of its taste, it’s from the memories it creates.
The key to Coca Cola is mostly in its marketing strategy.  Ever since its creation Coke has been a marketing genius. One lesson that can be learned from Coca Cola’s experiences is too get your product out there. Coca Cola puts its name on everything. You can find the Coca Cola logo on basically anything. This includes T-shirts, pens, coolers, jukeboxes, pens, cups, pencils, etc. Almost anything that has enough room to fit the coke label on it, Coca Cola has done it. There is a whole other industry that revolves around the selling, buying, and collecting of Coca Cola apparel.
A great technique Coca Cola has mastered is its work in commercial advertising. Coke has created memories by creating memorable images and jingles in their commercials. Things such as these have greatly attributed the success of the company because it has formed a bond with the people of the world. Some people even speculate that Coca Cola created the image of modern day Santa Claus in their traditional holiday campaign.

Another lesson learned from Coca Cola’s experiences is the common saying, “If it isn’t broken then don’t fix it.” When Coke decided to redo its formula and image the idea was highly rejected by the American people. Changing its taste and image was just as bad as taking it away all together. When people have such love and passion for a product there is no sense in changing it. Coca Cola will forever be expanding by creating new products and items. But since its original development was executed so perfectly I believe Coca Cola will forever be America’s drink.

MARKETING FOR COKE

As a young child I always enjoyed soda and when it came down to decide between coke and Pepsi I have to decide Pepsi I don’t know, what it was but it to me was the taste but understand I still have me a coke every once and a while. But what I do admire from coke is their marketing strategies starting with their publicized if you have ever noticed close to every restaurant has coke products, and then have thousands of coke billboards and advertisements. They do this because they want to stimulate the brains of their buyers to think of theirs soda product to out of their way and buy their product. What found was very cool was the secret lab that coke had that simulated a store where products of coke and other products would be sold. From here they brainstormed the brilliant ideas that make coke one of the worlds’s most known and dunk sodas. But what saw was not good is when they tried to change the formula to the coke that billions of people have been used to, which was horrible for them when people are used to something it is very hard to change it from what I understood this was bad marketing for coke and to me it wasn’t carefully thought through maybe a test product should have been sent not all of coke.

What really touched me was the wide spread of Cocoa Cola and how well known throughout the world it is how every where they are they touch something about that country and exploit it in the way of getting their product out and the what is exploited such as the World Cup such as mentioned in the video South Africa World Cup they basically advertised both and made an attempt to get the community. When as a community you take out your way to touch a community or country, or place that gives you good customers. Such example brings up that during the World Wars. Other companies pulled out of that countries but coke didn’t but instead continued to sell their products, this especially affected the American soldiers they came to respect Coke and brought back their likes of it after the war with created profit for the company
